Featured product: Safflower Oil - 250 mL

Our organically grown safflower makes oil that is a deep, rich yellow color -- much darker than safflower oil that you see in the store. This oil is buttery and earthy in flavor. Safflower oil can be used in high-heat cooking and is lower in saturated fats than olive oil. We plant safflower in February and harvest the seeds in June with our small combine. We press the safflower ourselves using a very low-heat, slow press. Store safflower oil in a cool, dark place, the cooler the better. It will keep for a year after opening. Note that both sizes that we sell are pictured here: 250 mL and 500 mL. The price drops if you get a case of 12.
